Yashwant Mahadik joins Lupin Ltd as President – Global Human Resources

Senior HR Leader Yashwant Mahadik, Ex -Executive Vice President and CHRO of Sun Pharma has joined Lupin as “President – Global Human Resources”. Lupin Limited is a major generics pharma multinational with presence and operations across the world.

Today, Yashwant announced his joining to Lupin Ltd through a LinkedIn post, He wrote “After a break of three months, which was mostly spent with my family at home and in the forest with animals. Today, I join Lupin Limited as, President – Global Human Resources. I will continue to be based in Mumbai at the companies headquarters.” And he also said “in January this year, I resigned and then formally separated from the company in April this year. I left Sun Pharma with some very fond memories and great friendships.”

Yashwant is a seasoned global HR professional with over 29 years of experience in top-notch global and multinational corporations. He has established a track record of success in all his roles and assignments. His experience is diverse and varies across industries/sectors (Technology, Consumer and Healthcare) and geographies (India, UK, Japan, USA, ASEAN and Europe). He has worked across industries and geographies in top companies such as Crompton Greaves, Colgate Palmolive, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.

Prior to his assignment with Sun Pharma, he was based out of Netherlands and worked with Royal Philips, as the Global Head of HR Business Transformation, IT & Operations. One of his successful initiatives in Philips was establishing the Philips University in 2014.

He is recognized amongst top 50 most powerful HR professionals coming from India and is a leading HR thought leader who has worked in association with leading academicians in USA for conceptualising and executing global strategic initiatives in areas of Human Resource Management.
