Tractor manufacturer TAFE has appointed Sandeep Sinha, former Managing Director of Cummins India as the new CEO. He will report to Mallika Srinivasan, TAFE Chairman.
TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, is an Indian tractor major incorporated in 1960 at Chennai, with an annual turnover of INR 93 billion (2014-15). The third-largest tractor manufacturer in the world and the second-largest in India by volumes, TAFE wields about 25% market share of the Indian tractor industry with a sale of over 150,000 tractors (domestic and international) annually.

In his previous role as Managing Director, Cummins India, Sandeep led all the businesses and operation functions in the Asia region and has been instrumental in increasing customer engagement and leading transformational quality initiatives across the organization. He has held several roles in the supply chain as well as corporate strategy functions including a tenure with Cummins Inc. in the USA.
Sandeep holds a degree in production engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education and he has also earned an MBA from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.
