Nearly 97,640 Provident Fund (PF) members and pensioners under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995, are set to benefit from the pension on higher wages (PoWH) initiative across the country.

According to The Hindu report, This figure comprises 8,401 individuals (Till Sept 10, 2024) who have already received pension payment orders (PPOs) and 89,235 who have been issued demand notices.
