Global consulting and technology services giant Accenture has announced the elevation of Vikram Mukherjee to the position of Vice President – Talent Acquisition.
Vikram, an industry veteran with a rich background in human resources, is set to lead the company’s recruitment initiatives across its global operations.
Key Responsibilities at Accenture
As the newly appointed VP – Talent Acquisition, Vikram’s primary focus will be on enhancing recruitment processes, building diverse talent pipelines, and driving talent fulfillment efforts.
His expertise lies in employee life cycle management, spanning talent acquisition, retention, HR operations, and HR business partnering.
With a keen eye on optimizing talent-sourcing strategies, Vikram is poised to strengthen Accenture’s workforce capabilities and contribute to the company’s growth trajectory.
Before assuming his current role, Vikram served as the Vice President – HR Operations & Transformation at Accenture from July 2022 to March 2024.Â
During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in several critical initiatives, including the establishment of HR shared service centers.
He also led the transformation of large-scale recruitment processes and successful implementation of talent acquisition and succession management solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
Background and Career Journey
Vikram’s journey in the corporate world began in 2003 as a recruitment officer at Convergys.
Over the years, he honed his skills and held key positions at various renowned organizations.
Notably, he served as the HRM head at Reliance Communications, where he was based in Karnataka for nearly five years.
Later, he joined [24]7.ai as the company’s Assistant Vice President of Recruitment, overseeing India delivery operations.
In 2016, Vikram moved to SLK Global Solutions as the VP of Global Recruitment.
This further expanded his expertise in talent management. He holds a degree in business management from Calcutta University.
Undoubtedly, this educational background has contributed to his well-rounded understanding of HR practices and organizational dynamics.
