Ashok Leyland gets Arindam Chakraborty as VP- HR & Head- OD

An Indian multinational automotive manufacturer, Ashok Leyland has appointed Arindam Chakraborty as Vice President- HR & Head- OD and Learning.

Arindam has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President HR & Head of OD and Learning at Ashok Leyland”

He has 25 years of experience in the HR organization and is successful in managing synergy across business value streams. He has expertise in building an Engaging, Performance-oriented workplace.

During his career, he had the opportunity to participate in/lead organizations in a dramatic growth phase, inorganic growth, business start-up, and restoration.

Prior to Ashok Leyland, Arindam was associated with Vikram Solar as CHRO & Group Head HR. In this role, he was overseeing corporate communications, and CSR initiatives, and led workplace digitization. He has been associated with organizations including Eicher brands like Britannia, Coca-Cola, and Mitsubishi Chemicals.

He holds his Post Graduate Diploma in PM& IR, Human Resources Management and Services from Xavier Institute of Social Service and completed his Bachelor of Commerce – BCom, Business/Commerce, General from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata.
