HCLSoftware, a global leader in enterprise software products and a unit of HCLTech, has announced the appointment of Vikrant Chowdhary as Senior Vice-President and Country Head for India.
In this new role, Vikrant will lead HCLSoftware’s India region business, driving growth and innovation across the country’s critical sectors, including Enterprise, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI), and Government segments.

Based in the Delhi NCR region, Vikrant brings more than 27 years of leadership experience to HCLSoftware, with a proven track record of success in scaling technology-driven businesses.
In his new role, Vikrant will be responsible for spearheading HCLSoftware’s India region business.
His responsibilities will include driving growth and innovation across critical sectors such as Enterprise, BFSI, and Government segments.
Vikrant will also play a key role in leading HCLSoftware’s “Make in India” commitment, striving to make HCLSoftware the largest India-based global enterprise software products company.
Background and Expertise
Vikrant’s extensive career includes leadership roles at some of the world’s most innovative technology companies.
His experience spans across Salesforce, SAP, Teradata, IBM, and numerous successful startups. Most recently, he served as the first Chief Growth Officer at CleverTap.
Vikrant’s leadership has been instrumental in driving growth and operational excellence in highly dynamic, competitive environments.
His expertise in Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, team leadership, and technology for enterprise and financial services is essential.
These skills are critical for HCLSoftware’s strategic expansion in India’s growth market.
Vikrant holds a Post-Graduate degree in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai.
