Jacob’s most recent position was with Malabar Group, where he served as the Group and Global CHRO since April 2021.
At Malabar, he focused on the people function, particularly within the gems and jewellery business. His tenure there allowed him to gain insights into the intricacies of managing HR in a diverse and dynamic industry.
Before Malabar, Jacob contributed to Columbia Asia Healthcare as the Group CHRO for Malaysia. His experience in the healthcare sector equipped him with valuable knowledge that he now brings to Aster DM Healthcare.
Jacob also held the position of Group Chief People Officer at Apollo Hospitals Enterprises, a leading healthcare provider in India.
His work there involved aligning HR practices with the organization’s growth and expansion strategies.
In the real estate sector, Jacob served as the Executive Vice President of HR at Oberoi Realty, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s talent management and employee engagement initiatives.
