Mahindra Group appoints Asha Kharga as Chief Customer and Brand Officer

Axis Bank’s Asha Kharga, a senior marketing professional with over two decades of experience, has joined Mahindra Group as Chief Customer and Brand Officer, effective April 2021.

At Axis Bank, she worked as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Marketing Officer and was responsible for creating & implementing marketing strategies that lead to increased awareness, consideration, revenue, and ultimately brand trust.

Before joining Axis Bank, she had an eight-year-long association with FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL), during which she served in various capacities. Her last role at HUL was as Marketing Director, Brooke Bond and Lipton tea. 

Previously, Kharga has also worked with Leo Burnett Group as account director, JWT as account planning manager, and TBWA as a key account manager.

She did graduation in Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics and holds a master’s degree in Marketing Management from Mumbai University.
