Pernod Ricard appoints Zainab Patel as Head-D&I, India

Pernod Ricard India has announced the appointment of Zainab Patel, a Transgender Woman as Head- Diversity & Inclusion. Prior to this, Zainab was associated with KPMG India as Director- Inclusion & Diversity.

An out and proud Transgender woman, Zainab is a results-driven inclusion and diversity catalyst with a promising record of developing and operationalizing strategies and programs that engage and unite diverse missions (UN, development aid organizations, non-government organizations, public institutions) and the private sector.

Zainab is recognized in India and the south/ southeast Asia region as a community leader and public speaker with expertise in topics on LGBTIQ, women’s empowerment, human rights, and inclusion and diversity.

Pernod Ricard is making definitive strides towards its diversity goals in recruitment across the organization – including diversity in the C-suite, women’s representation improved across all levels of the corporate pipeline at Pernod Ricard India in 2021.
