Poonawalla Fincorp Limited, a leading non-banking finance company (NBFC) promoted by the Cyrus Poonawalla Group, has announced the appointment of Salil Hajarnis as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The board of directors approved his appointment on September 11, 2024, and it will take effect on December 10, 2024.
Salil Hajarnis is set to lead the company’s technology strategy, focusing on digital transformation and AI-driven customer solutions.

Salil Hajarnis’ Extensive Experience
Salil Hajarnis brings over two decades of experience in technology leadership roles to Poonawalla Fincorp.
His impressive career includes notable positions at industry giants such as Fiserv and Capgemini.
As the Head of Technology for India at Fiserv, Salil led key initiatives including AI and API-enabled solutions, real-time integrations, and platform modernization across markets in India, ASEAN, and Australia.
His contributions significantly advanced the technological capabilities of these regions.
Before joining Fiserv, Salil held senior roles at Capgemini where he managed complex transformations and built technology-driven customer experiences.
His work involved crafting technology strategies for the lending businesses of global financial institutions, modernizing legacy systems, and enhancing platform capabilities.
Salil’s expertise in delivering innovative lending and payment solutions further solidified his reputation as a tech leader.
