RPG Group Appoints Udayan Dutt as President-Group HR

RPG Group, a Mumbai-based business conglomerate, has appointed Udayan Dutt as its President-Group HR, effective June 2, 2025.

Udayan, who previously served as Vice President-HR at Reckitt Benckiser, will succeed S Venkatesh, who recently moved on after more than 11 years with the company.

With over 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, Udayan is expected to enhance RPG’s people-centric culture, focusing on innovation, inclusion, and high-performance strategies.

His appointment comes at a time when RPG Group is expanding its workforce policies and reinforcing its commitment to employee well-being.

As President-Group HR, Udayan will focus on:

Udayan Dutt’s Leadership Journey

Udayan’s career spans multiple industries and geographies, with significant contributions to HR transformation, talent management, and organizational development.

His professional journey includes:

  • Unilever (2006-2016) – Held various HR leadership roles, including HR Director for Marketing, South Asia, and Corporate Affairs Head for Sri Lanka.
  • Reckitt Benckiser (2018-2025) – Joined as Regional HR Director for South Asia, later taking on global responsibilities in finance, IT, digitization, legal, and transformation.
  • National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) – Led global transaction banking HR, focusing on digital banking solutions and workforce optimization.

Udayan’s expertise in HR strategy, leadership development, and employee engagement makes him a key asset for RPG Group’s future growth.
