British-Dutch multinational oil and gas company Shell elevates Tarun NP Varma as Vice President – Human Resources for Technology division. Earlier, he was Vice President – Human Resources, India.
Commenting on his new role Tarun said, “I, am excited to take on my new assignment as the global HR Leader for Shell’s Technology division, at a time when we accelerate our efforts around the energy transition.”
Tarun has joined Shell in 2015 as VP-Human Resources India, prior to this he was associated with Vodafone as Vice President – Performance, Rewards & Recognition.
Earlier he was working with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd for almost two years in HR leadership roles.
Previously, he also worked with Nestle as Manager -Corporate HR for two years.
Tarun holds a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, and an MA in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
