Simmi Dhamija quits Wipro as Chief Operating Officer

Simmi Dhamija quits Wipro as Chief Operating Officer of the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (APMEA) strategic market unit.

She joined Wipro in November 2022 as Chief Operating Officer. She led the delivery and operations of the strategic market unit across its different regions and effectively supported its profitable growth ambitions.

Simmi is a Business leader with over 25 years of experience, before joining Wipro, she worked with Tech Mahindra as Chief Transformation Officer leading strategic initiatives across digital transformation, M&A synergy, and profit improvement. Prior to that, she held various global leadership roles in strategy, delivery, operations, and talent development.

Today, Simmi has confirmed her movement on social media and said I’m excited to share that I am embarking on a new chapter in my career as a Founding Member of a Stealth Startup. A startup company that operates in stealth mode.

“My journey at Wipro has been filled with personal growth, and cherished connections that I will always treasure”, she added.

She further added, “At Stealth Startup, we are pioneering AI-first product and services unit, operating in stealth mode, supported by one of India’s largest conglomerates. Our leadership comprises industry veterans dedicated to relentless disruption.”

Simmi started her career working with Interglobe Technologies as a Project Manager. She holds her PGDBA in management (Operations) from IMT Ghaziabad and completed her Business Administration and Management, General from University of Rajasthan.
