SYSTRA Group has announced the appointment of Jean-Charles Vollery as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
This leadership transition follows the acquisition of a 58% stake in the company by Latour Capital and Fimalac, in collaboration with long-standing shareholders SNCF Group and RATP Group.

Commenting on his appointment, Jean-Charles said, “I am deeply honoured to lead SYSTRA at such an exciting time in its journey.”
He added, “My focus remains on driving growth while prioritising client satisfaction and the well-being of our teams.”
“Together, we aim to strengthen SYSTRA’s position as a global leader in sustainable mobility,” he concluded.
SYSTRA’s presence in India has been instrumental in the country’s urban infrastructure transformation.
The company was recently appointed as the Detailed Design Consultant for the Gurugram Metro expansion and Bhubaneswar Metro Phase 1.
Additionally, in partnership with Mace, SYSTRA secured the consultancy contract for the redevelopment of Ahmedabad Railway Station.
The company also won the Project Management Consultancy Services (PMS) by the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) for the Redevelopment of New Delhi Railway Station.
Background and Experience
Jean-Charles Vollery brings nearly three decades of experience in transport infrastructure to his new role.
He joined the company in 1996 and has held various leadership positions, including Managing Director of SYSTRA India, Senior Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, Chief International & Development Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.
His journey with SYSTRA began in the Civil Engineering and Structural Works division, where he contributed to projects in South Korea and China.
