
A global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions company, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has appointed Elizabeth Mathew as a new head of diversity (as head of TCS LeaD, its diversity program).
As per her LinkedIn Bio, she is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience leading and managing both Regional and Business HR functions for large, complex, and global business units.
She is an established HR in new locations (international) and built competent teams to manage end-to-end HR processes and associated with TCS since 1998.
In internal communication sent by the company’s CHRO. Milind Lakkad read, “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Elizabeth Mathew (Liz) as the head of TCS LeaD.”
“Liz takes over from Anant Haidale who, after a successful stint in HR, has moved to take up a leadership role in the Manufacturing Business Group,” his email added.
Recently, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has ended the hybrid work policy and asked its employees to work from the office 5 days a week from October 1, 2023 onwards.
While announcing the Q2FY24 results, Milind Makkad, Global CHRO, TCS said, “We have hired a large number of workforce in last three years and they were working in Hybrid or Virtual mode, we strongly believe they need to come to work all days so that new workforce get integrated with a larger workforce of TCS. This is how only they will learn about TCS Values and Culture.”
“We will continue to assess our working models and evolve depending on what works best for our customers and employees,” he added.
TCS’s employee base continues to be very diverse, with 35.8% women and 152 nationalities. In financial results for Q1FY24 the quarter ending June 30, 2023, TCS LTM IT Services attrition rate this quarter is 17.8% with a workforce strength of 615,318. The company’s net headcount addition of 523 and the contribution of women in the workforce is 35.8%.
