Wells Fargo Appoints Yash Mohan as Head-HR, India & Philippines

Wells Fargo has appointed Yash Mohan as Head- Human Resources for its India and Philippines operations.

Yash brings over 22 years of experience in global human resources. He will be responsible for leading HR services across the two regions.

He will also implement country-specific labor practices and effective risk controls.

In his new role at Wells Fargo, Yash will focus on championing growth, connection, and innovation.

He expressed his eagerness to build something extraordinary together with the Wells Fargo team.

His extensive experience and leadership skills are expected to be valuable assets to the company as it continues to expand its operations in India and the Philippines.

Wells Fargo India and Philippines is a critical component of the company’s global strategy.

The operations there involve application development, support, testing, and other technology functions.

The company has offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Manila. It plays a key role in providing middle and back-end banking process solutions for Wells Fargo’s needs.

Background and Experience

Yash Mohan joins Wells Fargo from BNY Mellon, where he held the position of Head of Human Resources for APAC and India.

During his tenure at BNY Mellon, Yash successfully led the end-to-end people strategy for the bank across 12 countries in the region.

His extensive experience spans across banking, insurance, SaaS, and data analytics businesses in India, APAC, and the Americas.

Yash began his professional journey as a freelance journalist with HT Media Group. He transitioned into the HR field in 2002.

He held various roles, including HR officer at Eagle Seals and Systems India and head of HR at Ntrance Aviva Insurance.

His career at BNY Mellon saw multiple promotions. It culminated in his role as global HR head for shared services and technology.
