Strategic Appointment at Zee Media
Pavel Chopra brings a wealth of experience to Zee Media, having previously served as the CHRO at OxyZEN Express.
During his tenure at OxyZEN Express, Pavel was instrumental in establishing a pan-India network.
This was covering over 11,000 pin codes and scaling the company to approximately ₹100 crore in consolidated revenue.
His expertise in senior stakeholder management and organizational development was critical to the company’s rapid growth.
Before joining OxyZEN Express, Pavel held significant roles at Allcargo Limited and GATI Limited.
At Allcargo, he led the people strategy and cultural transformation for a 10,000+ employee organization spread across 300+ locations.
His efforts were pivotal in ensuring seamless integration across the two companies following Allcargo Logistics’ acquisition of GATI.
Pavel’s career in human resources spans over two decades, with notable positions at Sony Pictures Networks India and Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.
At Sony Pictures Networks India, he oversaw HR functions for technical and support departments, managing a substantial part of the organization’s workforce.
His role at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance as the Head of Compensation & Benefits and HRBP for Corporate Functions further enhanced his expertise in compensation management and HR policy development.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Pavel also holds an MCA in computer engineering.
His early career included a nine-year stint at Genpact, where he held various HR roles, culminating in his position as Head of Compensation for Genpact India.
