Pepsico Veteran and CEO & Managing Director of Nourish Co Beverages has quit the company and is set to join Spirit Maker company Diageo as its Chief Marketing Officer.

NourishCo was formed a decade back as an equal joint venture between PepsiCo and Tata Consumer Products to build scale in the packaged hydration space. Two months back, Tata Consumer Products had acquired PepsiCo’s stake in the JV.

Deepika moves on after two decades at PepsiCo where she worked on key roles in strategy and marketing functions across snacks, beverages, and nutrition, including activation on PepsiCo’s association as cricket tournament IPL T20’s previous title sponsor.

A PepsiCo spokesperson confirmed Warrier was moving on from the beverages and snacks maker. “In the last two decades, with each role and responsibility, she made a huge impact on the business, and has been instrumental in building brands and innovation platforms,” the spokesperson said.

Deepika is a transformative commercial leader with over 25 years experience including 10 years + of CMO and P&L leadership experience across scale, start-up and turn around operating models in India, and international markets.

She has done BA Hons, History from Lady Shri Ram College For Women and holds Masters degree in Marketing from IIM, Bangalore.
