At the time of worldwide coronavirus pandemic and lockdown when most of the professional services firms are talking about a hiring freeze, salary cuts and deferring promotions, Deloitte elevated 30 Directors to Partner with a jump in their salary.
On 31st March, Deloitte India CEO N Venkatram has announced the promotions of 30 Directors to Partner. The promotions were across the five verticals audit, tax, consulting, and financial services and risk.
Pratik Mehta is one of them who has been elevated to Partner. Previously as a director, Pratik was responsible for Organization Transformation, Design of Performance Management Systems, Organization Structuring, Leadership Capability Assessment & Development, Job Evaluation, and M&A HR Due Diligence.
Pratik has joined Deloitte India as director in Jan 2017 and prior to this, he worked with KPMG as a Consultant, Hay Group as Senior Consultant and SlideKraft Studio as co-founder.
Pratik holds an M.Sc. degree in International Employment Relations & Human Resource Management from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University.
Deloitte India has been aggressively growing its consulting business after the government-mandated audit rotation saw most of its marquee audit clients rotate out. Deloitte Global CEO Punit Renjen had in February met prime minister Narendra Modi and then tweeted that the firm is looking to create around 75,000 jobs in the country within the next three years.
