Flipkart appoints Unilever veteran Hemant Badri as Senior VP Supply Chain

Flipkart, an e-commerce company headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, India has announced the appointment of Hemant Badri as Senior VP Supply Chain, effective from March 1.

Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO of Flipkart said, “Company has appointed former Unilever veteran Hemant Badri as Senior Vice President of its supply chain operations, effective March 1, 2021. Badri was the Global Vice President of Planning, Analytics & Customer Experience and the Vice President of Planning for European Operations at Unilever’s Headquarters based out of the Netherlands.”

“Badri was also a member of Unilever’s Global Supply Chain Leadership Team,” Krishnamurthy said.

“In this role, Hemant will be responsible for the Ekart-Myntra Supply Chain and Jeeves- F1 priorities at Flipkart. All the asset leaders currently reporting to Amitesh will now report to Hemant,” Krishnamurthy added.

Badri has over two decades of experience in leading E2E Supply chain & digital transformation with expertise operations, manufacturing, Planning, logistics, customer service, network optimization, supply chain strategies & cost transformation.

Previously, he also worked with Colgate Palmolive and Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. He is an engineering graduate and holds PG diploma in Industrial Engineering & Management from NITIE Mumbai.
