Vidya Rao has joined Genpact as Chief Information Officer. She comes after serving 16 years at Accenture. She will be based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
In her previous role, Vidya was working as Managing Director- Product & Technology at Accenture. And she was responsible for Global Application Maintenance Lead for a Global Consumer Goods Manufacturer.
Announcing her movement on a social platform she said, “After a long stint with Accenture, the time has now come to move on and to explore new challenges and opportunities. I am pleased to share that I will start as the CIO of Genpact.”
Previously Vidya has also worked with companies like Wipro, Infosys and Cambridge Technology Partners.
