Paints and coatings maker AkzoNobel has announced that Anushree Singh, HR Head India has been elevated to a global role, effective April 1.
She will take on a new mandate as Global Project Manager for Employer Value Proposition (EVP) at AkzoNobel, the company said in a statement.
In her new role, Anushree Singh will work closely with Akzo Nobel’s Executive Committee members and the Global HR Leadership Team. Her key priorities will be to define and roll out an EVP that resounds with the company’s purpose-driven culture, it said.
Anushree Singh joined the organization in the year 2019 as the Head of Human Resources for India Sub-continent. She has led key initiatives at the firm in times of uncertainty, including new employee-oriented policies (such as the returnee mother program, lateral hiring, etc.), prioritizing employees and their family’s physical & mental health and well-being in times of uncertainty.
She has also been focusing on increasing diversity & inclusion across all business functions.
Anushree Singh said, “The EVP will be a strategic tool to further provide AkzoNobel with a competitive advantage and ensure that our diverse talent continues to grow, innovate and thrive.”
The great reshuffle is far from over, as the recent Microsoft report highlighted. Organizations need to relook at their employee value propositions, identify what people value most and then redraft and relaunch them as per their needs.
