Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO), a PSU under the Ministry of Power said that Anshul Bhargava has taken over charge as Director- Human Resources on Monday, June 14.
He replaces Meenakshi Davar who superannuated on January 1, 2021. Anshul’s appointment as Director -HR was announced in the month of March 2021.
Bhargava will be overall in charge of coordinating and implementing human resource policies, talent management, human resource development, industrial relations, and other strategic HR functions in the organization, the company said in a statement.
Prior to this, Anshul was working with PNB Housing Finance Limited as Chief People Officer & Head HR, Administration. In his new role, Anshul will be overall in-charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, management functions, administrative control, training, human resource development, etc, in the organization
Anshul did his schooling at Scindia School, Gwalior, and higher studies in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
He is a strong human resource professional with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. He also has hands-on experience in business planning, operations management, HR consulting, banking, and executive search.
Anshul joined the Army in 1987. He served the country for 21 years till 2008. He started his journey in the corporate world as General Manager (Head of HR and Administration) with Asset Reconstruction Company of India Ltd (ARCIL) in 2008 in Mumbai.
POSOCO Chairman and Managing Director K V S Baba, Directors, Regional heads, and other senior officials welcomed Bhargava in the organisation.
Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) is a wholly-owned government enterprise under the Ministry of Power. Earlier it was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Powergrid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID).
The company was formed in March 2009 to handle the power management functions of POWERGRID. POSOCO is responsible for managing the power system operations – a mission-critical activity, with security, economy, and reliability. with PTI Inputs
