India’s technology platform delivering digital solutions, BetterPlace has announced the appointment of Mohana M D as Chief People & Culture Officer.
In this role, Mohana will be responsible for focusing on building a participative inclusive culture that would act as a catalyst for BetterPlace’s journey of growth.
Additionally, she will be leading initiatives to build a common currency of trust, innovation, and oneness across BetterPlace employees working out in different geographies.

Mohana has over 15 years of experience in the BFSI and IT sectors. As an HR leader, she has successfully led large-scale strategic HR global transformation programs on key employee strategies that have successfully helped organizations adopt disruptive, innovative & future-looking talent solutions.
Prior to BetterPlace, she was associated with Standard Chartered Bank as Head of HR, Bangalore Hub, GBS. In this role, she was leading the people strategy for a workforce of 9000+ at Standard Chartered Global business services, Bangalore. This role also provided her the opportunity to head HR to help drive innovation through people capability for the Retail Technology & Innovation business in the bank.
Mohana has also led leadership roles with the companies like SAP and Fidelity Investments. She is an alumnus of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Mohana holds her M.Sc in Psychology with a specialization in Organization Behaviour from Bangalore University. She completed her bachelor’s from Christ University, Bangalore.
