A leading global aerospace company, Boeing has announced the appointment of Uma Amuluru as Chief Human Resources Officer and executive vice president, Human Resources.
Moreover, Uma will report to Boeing President and CEO David Calhoun and serve on the company’s Executive Council.
As part of her new responsibilities, she will oversee various aspects of Boeing’s operations, including talent planning, global talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits management, employee and labor relations, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Starting from April 1, she will assume her new position, replacing Michael D’Ambrose, who has announced his retirement plans for this July. D’Ambrose will work to support this leadership transition and retire this July.
Prior to this appointment, Amuluru has been serving as the vice president and general counsel for Boeing Defense, Space & Security.

Prior to joining Boeing in 2017, Amuluru had an impressive career in the U.S. government, where she served in senior positions such as counselor to the U.S. Attorney General and Associate White House Counsel under President Barack Obama. As a former federal prosecutor, Amuluru brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role at Boeing.
