Diageo, a global beverage alcohol company, has announced the elevation of Louise Prashad to Chief Human Resources Officer from Global Talent Director, effective 1 January 2022.
In her new role, she will report to Ivan Menezes, CEO, and will also be part of the Diageo Executive Committee. She replaces Mairead Nayager who has recently moved on to join GSK Consumer Healthcare as CHRO.

Mairead Nayager had been with Diageo since October 2017, was based in London.
Louise joined Diageo 20 years ago and has built a stellar track record in senior global roles including Talent Director for the Africa region, HR Director for Global Functions, HR Director for West LAC, followed by HR Director for Europe.
Since 2016, Louise has been Diageo’s Global Talent Director with a remit extending across learning and development, talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity, and business partnering with Global Functions, and she has led the creation of high-quality leadership and talent initiatives that have shifted the company’s culture and performance.
Previously she has also associated with organizations like Stakis Group and Hilton Hotels.
Diageo, which was formed in 1997 by merging Guinness Brewery and Grand Metropolitan, is headquartered in London, England.
