Epsilon Carbon appoints Ranjan Banerjee as CHRO

Epsilon Carbon, a leading manufacturer of coal tar derivatives appoints Ranjan Banerjee as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 2021.

Prior to this, he was working as Sr. Vice President & Head – Human Resources at the Aditya Birla Group where he was responsible for managing an 8000-strong workforce.

In his new role, Ranjan is responsible for leading the people and culture agenda of the organization. He will report to Saiprasad Jadhav, CEO, Epsilon Carbon.

Ranjan has more than 26 years of experience in the industry, is an Executive Coach and a Change & Transformation specialist providing advisory services in organization building, culture change, and industrial relations.

Previously, he has worked with several large Indian conglomerates like Vodafone, ITC, Park Hotels, Bata India, United Breweries, RPG Enterprises, and India Power in HR leadership roles.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work (specialization in PM & IR) from Visva Bharati, Santiniketan, and an HR Executive Programme (HREP) at Ross Business School, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.
