Godrej Industries (Chemicals) gets Poonam Burman as CHRO

One of the oldest businesses of the Godrej Group, Godrej Industries Limited (Chemicals Division) has appointed Poonam Burman as Chief Human Resources Officer.

She has confirmed the appointment and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Godrej Industries Limited (Chemicals)!”

Poonam has nearly 27 years of experience in Strategic HR Business partnering in varied industries like FMCG, IT Product development, Automobiles, Textiles, Oil & Gas Engineering services, Mining products and services, and Telecom.

During various stints, She has worked closely with business leaders to conceptualize and execute HR Processes and policies aligned to business needs.

She is a passionate People Enabler and enjoys working on Change Management, Coaching Line Managers, and turning around people practices from reactive to proactive sustainable engagements and high-performance culture.

Prior to Godrej Industries Limited (Chemicals), she was associated with Unilever as Business HR Leader-Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care business group.

Her earlier stints include working with Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Lexmark, Orica, Indian Oiltanking, and HINDUSTAN MOTORS LTD.

She holds her Master of Business Administration (MBA, HR) from Xavier Institute of Social Service.
