GSK appoints Harsh V. Trehan as People Services Lead at GSK Global Capability Centre

Harsh V. Trehan, former Chief People Officer of Compass Group Limited has joined GlaxoSmithKline as People Services Lead, GSK Global Capability Centre, Bangaluru, effective March 2021.

GlaxoSmithKline is building a best-in-class GSK People Services Centre with World-class capabilities in Bengaluru that will support its global businesses and functions.

Trehan led the People strategy for multiple businesses across India, supporting a high-growth people delivery agenda for close to 25,000 employees. Prior to Compass Group, Harsh worked for BAE Systems, India, GSK Consumer Healthcare, and Bharat Petroleum.

He has nearly 22 years of diverse experience across industry sectors such as Corporate Services, Aerospace & Defence, FMCG, and Oil & Gas. He is certified in Level A in Occupational Assessment from the British Psychological Society and holds a Certified Green Belt in Lean Sigma.

Trehan has done graduation in science and holds a master’s degree in personnel management/ human resources from SIBM, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
