
One of the largest & India’s fastest-growing electrical and power distribution equipment manufacturers, Havells India Ltd has announced the appointment of Preemita Singh as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
In this role, she will be responsible for the entire People and Culture agenda of the organization.
Preemita is a seasoned HR Leader with over two decades of rich and diverse experience in leading HR in the BFSI, IT, and Consulting sectors.
She has assisted businesses in organization design and restructuring, integration of HR practices in M&A situations, driving Enterprise HR agenda in Group Businesses, defining and executing an effective Talent Strategy, strengthening Employer Brand, and designing progressive HR policies.
Preemita has experience in managing people and business objectives and has a successful track record of delivering results. She has led HR functions in domestic as well as global setting, managing a diverse set of stakeholders.
She has worked extensively on HR Transformation, unleashing productivity, nurturing capability, building leadership, enabling a learning culture, and driving transformation through the effective use of HR technology. She has also successfully delivered assignments outside the HR Function.
Prior to Havells India Ltd, Preemita was associated with Hero FinCorp as CHRO and Head CSR. In this role, she was Heading Human Resources for Hero Fincorp and its subsidiaries.
Earlier, She was working with ICRA as Group HR Head. In this role, she was heading HR for Group ICRA and its subsidiaries, driving the HR Transformation agenda for ICRA, and delivering to the requirements of each business within the Group.
Preemita’s previous stints include working with Max as Head of Organisation & Staffing, spanning Talent Management and Acquisition, PAN India. In this role, she was Heading the Talent Management and Acquisition portfolio, across 220 offices, PAN India.
Her career stints also include working with leading organizations including RBS, CSC, and EY. She started her career working with Thermax as HR – Management Trainee.
Preemita holds her Master’s degree, Labour Laws and Welfare from Symbiosis Law College.
