Rohit Thakur quits Accenture India as Head- Human Resources. He will be replaced by Lakshmi C, who is currently, India HR service delivery lead responsible for recruiting, learning, HR Tech and process team.

Rohit had joined Accenture two years back in February 2017 as India Head-HR. He has over 26 years of experience in Human Resources and previously he has worked with companies like Microsoft, GE, Eicher, Cadence Design Systems, etc. Prior to joining Accenture, he was working as the Head of Human Resources at Microsoft India.

Lakshmi is an experienced Human Resources leader with a demonstrated history of working in the Information Technology and services industry, driving organization transformation through deep functional expertise in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organization Design, Employee Engagement, and HR Delivery.

Lakshmi has been with Accenture for over 16 years and has managed a variety of roles including the APAC region. She is currently the India HR Service Delivery Lead at Accenture. In this role, she leads the HR service delivery strategy for India and is responsible for the delivery of learning programs, recruiting and HR processes leveraging technology.

She is an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur, 1996 batch. According to sources, Lakshmi will resume her new office from November 1, onwards.
