Sekhmet Pharmaventures appoints Uma Rao Ganduri as CHRO
In this role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Sekhmet Pharmaventures, she will be responsible for shaping the people strategy.

Uma Rao Ganduri joins Sekhmet Pharmaventures, a prominent pharmaceutical platform as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In this new role, she will be responsible for all gamut of Human Resources.

The company said on her appointment, “Rao’s appointment was warmly greeted by Mr. Anil Khubchandani, Managing Director and CEO along with the executive team of Sekhmet.”

Uma, an alumna of TISS, has accumulated more than 25 years of experience in managing human resources functions for multinational corporations in both global and domestic settings within India.

She is a strategic HR leader who has worked closely with businesses in managing mission-critical projects and assignments in multiple sectors, including pharma, auto, IT, petroleum, and manufacturing.

She has provided a strategic perspective to business and enabled organizational health and talent development in leading MNCs and Indian companies.

Before joining Sekhmet Pharmaventures, Uma had affiliations with Granules India Limited, Ashok Leyland, HIL Limited, Mars, Tata Consultancy Services, and HPCL.

Uma has honed her skills in strategic human resources, modern HR policies, business HR partnership, talent management, compensation and benefits, HR work related to mergers and acquisitions, industrial relations, labor unions, and long-term settlements.
