Tata AIG elevates Jitesh Bawa as Chief Human Resources Officer
Tata AIG General Insurance Co. has elevated Jitesh Bawa as Chief Human Resources Officer within two years of his joining the company as Senior Vice President – HR in September 2019.
Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between the Tata Group and the American International Group (AIG). Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited celebrated 20 years of service this year (2021) since it commenced operations on January 22, 2001.
Prior to joining Tata AIG Jitesh was working with Edelweiss General Insurance Company Limited as Chief Human Resource Officer.
Jitesh is a passionate HR professional with over two decades of experience in human resources in all facets of HR. Earlier to Edelweiss Jitesh has also worked with IndusInd Bank as SVP & HR Business Partner, Consumer Banking, ICICI Lombard as Vice President -HR, and Reliance General Insurance as Dy. Manager- HR. Jitesh started his career at Gati Limited as a Manager- HR in 1996.
Jitesh graduated in Science and Mathematics from Delhi University and holds a master’s degree in Human Resources from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
