A former employee of a tech firm has killed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. The incident took place at the company’s office in Bengaluru.
The deceased persons have been identified as Vinu Kumar, the CEO of Aeronics Media Pvt ltd, and Phanindra Subramanya, the firm’s MD.
The police informed to media that the incident took place at around 4 pm. The accused came to the former office at Pampa Extension of Amruthahalli. The accused who has been identified as Felix had attacked the two top executives with a machete.
The two top executives Vinu Kumar and Phanindra Subramanya suffered were seriously injured in the attack and died on the way to the hospital.
The accused had separated from the company some time back and started his own company. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) North East Bengaluru, Lakshmi Prasad, said Felix was on the run, and efforts are being made to arrest him at the earliest.
The Amruthahalli police are investigating the matter and the bodies of the deceased have been sent to Manipal Hospital.
