DNA host Sudhir Chaudhary resigns as CEO of Zee Media
Sudhir has resigned from Zee Media effective July 1, 2022. The show is currently being anchored by Zee Hindutan’s anchor Rohit Ranjan

Broadcast news network Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) said that its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sudhir Chaudhary has resigned from the position.

The company said, “We wish to inform you that Sudhir Chaudhary has resigned from the position of Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from the close of business hours of July 1, 2022.”

“Consequently, he also ceases to be the Key managerial personnel of the company,” the company added.

A regulatory filing by Zee Media Corporation Ltd (ZMCL) said, “Sudhir has resigned from Zee Media effective July 1, 2022.”

“The company has initiated the process for nomination of Abhay Ojha, Chief Business Officer of the company, as a key managerial personnel in place of Chaudhary”, it added.

In his resignation letter addressed to Essel Group Chairman Subhash Chandra, Chaudhary began, “With a heavy heart, I have to say that ‘Great is the art of beginning, but greater is the art of ending.’ But, Sir at the same time I would like to add that, I am seeking your blessings for parting ways from ZMCL.”

Sudhir wrote that the decision was a “result of my internal deliberations to start my own enterprise. I assure you that my proposed new venture (if successful) will make you happy and proud of me.”

The show is currently being anchored by Zee Hindutan’s anchor Rohit Ranjan. Sudhir has been working in the television news industry for close to three decades and started his career with Zee.

In 2003, he left Zee News. He was instrumental in the launch of Sahara Samay, the Hindi-language news channel of the Sahara group. He also joined India TV for a brief time. In 2012, he rejoined Zee News, where he hosts the news show Daily News & Analysis
