Samsung has announced the winners of its ninth annual campus program, Samsung E.D.G.E (Empowering Dreams Gaining Excellence), with pre-placement offers being extended to the top teams.
This year’s competition saw participation from over 15,000 students across 40 premier campuses, including top-tier B-schools, engineering colleges, and design schools.
Samsung E.D.G.E: Competition Overview
The finale event, held in Gurugram, witnessed innovative ideas from some of the brightest students in the country.
Team RSP from XLRI Jamshedpur emerged as the national winner with their creative marketing strategy that included the use of brand mascots, geo-targeting, Gen MZ hotspot tagging, and mall activations.
The team secured a cash prize of ₹450,000, Samsung’s flagship smartphones, and pre-placement offers from Samsung.
Team Chevy67 from XLRI Jamshedpur claimed the first runners-up position with a strategy for the smart home market.
Their idea focused on driving adoption and creating an interconnected, future-ready ecosystem that streamlines the user experience globally.
The team won a cash prize of ₹300,000.
Team Phoenix from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Calcutta, finished as the second runner-up.
Their forward-thinking ideas involving ‘Spin to Win’ Smart QR Codes and Infinite Experiences with Sustainable Design earned them a cash prize of ₹150,000.

JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, expressed his excitement over the overwhelming response.
He noted the significant participation from students and campuses. He emphasized that innovation is the cornerstone of everything Samsung does.
The E.D.G.E program continually empowers students by offering a platform to showcase their creative solutions for enhanced consumer experience.
Winners and finalists received personalized mentoring and guidance from Samsung leaders to improve their proposed innovative solutions.
