ESIC new opportunity for students of Architecture Colleges

One of the two main statutory social security bodies, The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is providing a unique & new opportunity to students of Architecture Colleges.

This will provide great exposure to college students. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation has shared a tweet from an official handle saying, “Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is giving a golden opportunity to the students of Architecture Colleges of the country.”

“Undergraduate/Postgraduate students studying in recognized Colleges of Architecture can participate in this Competition. #ESIC, “the tweet added.

The participants need to submit their architecture designs for the upcoming ESIC hospitals at Sanand (Ahmedabad) and Kalol (Gandhinagar), Gujarat.

ESIC will be rewarding awards to the participants. The prize amount includes the 1st Prize of amount 1 Lakh, 2nd Prize of amount 50 Thousand, and the Next 3 winners will be awarded the Prize amount of 25 Thousand.

The Sanand (Ahmedabad) ESIC hospital is spread over 9.5 acres of land with a 500 crore estimated project budget. Additionally, Kalol (Gandhinagar), Gujarat is spread over 4.05 acres of land with a 150 crore estimated project budget.

Shri Amit Shah, Union Minister for Home Affairs & Cooperation laid the foundation stone of 350 Bedded (Upgradable up to 500 beds) at ESIC Hospital, Sanand Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The construction of the hospital spread over 9.5 acres would entail an expenditure of Rs. 500 crores. It may soon be upgraded to 500 bedded hospital as per requirement. The hospital would look after 12 lakh employees and their families along with the villagers of Sanand, said the Home Minister.
