Cognizant Expansion Plans

As part of its ongoing expansion in India, Cognizant has unveiled plans to establish a new state-of-the-art facility in Hyderabad, covering over 10 lakh square feet.

In another major development, Cognizant announced the launch of a cutting-edge TechFin center in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Gandhinagar.

Set to open by February 2025, the new facility will focus on delivering advanced technology solutions for clients in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sectors.

Initially, the center will employ 500 associates, with plans to expand to 2,000 employees over the next three years.

This move strengthens Cognizant’s efforts to bring innovative solutions from India to the global stage.

Cognizant has also opened its first center in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, marking a significant expansion of its Indian operations.

Inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the 46,000-square-foot facility at Brilliant Titanium will initially create over 1,500 jobs, with potential growth to 20,000 roles.

This expansion reflects Cognizant’s commitment to fostering local talent and driving innovation.
