Cognizant Expands in India with Major Hiring Initiatives

Cognizant has announced significant expansion plans in India, aiming to create thousands of jobs across Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, and Indore.

Hyderabad Growth: A new facility spanning 10 lakh square feet will serve as a major operational hub, creating over 15,000 jobs.

TechFin Center in GIFT City: A TechFin center in Gandhinagar, focused on banking and financial technologies, will open by February 2025. Starting with 500 employees, the center will expand to 2,000 in three years.

Indore Operations: Cognizant’s first Indore center, inaugurated at Brilliant Titanium, will initially provide 1,500 jobs, with plans to grow to 20,000.

These expansion initiatives in India emphasize leveraging local talent and supporting innovation. With opportunities in AI, cloud, and BFSI technologies, Cognizant is strengthening its role in India’s tech ecosystem while driving global solutions.
