Deloitte Offers “Amplify Internship Program” for Graduates in SEA

Deloitte has announced the launch of its new internship program, ‘Amplify’, designed to help graduates jumpstart their careers in professional services.

As one of the leading players in the industry, Deloitte operates with over 457,000 staff worldwide and has a presence in every Southeast Asian country.

The Amplify program aims to provide young professionals with exposure to real-world business challenges while equipping them with essential skills for a dynamic work environment.

Program Structure and Opportunities

The Amplify internship program will begin in 2025, with two intakes planned to accommodate up to 1,000 interns across Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.

Participants will undergo technical and soft skills training alongside hands-on experience in key areas such as accounting and reporting assurance, strategy and business design, business tax, and cyber security.

Upon completing the 12-week program, the top-performing graduates will be offered full-time positions at Deloitte, providing them with a direct pathway to a successful career.

Leadership Perspectives

Eugene Ho, Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte in Southeast Asia, highlighted the significance of the program: “Amplify aims to empower individuals to define for themselves a purposeful career that makes an impact in today’s dynamic work environment.”

“Deloitte’s multidisciplinary model and extensive global network will enable Amplify interns to gain experience delivering world-class solutions to the region’s most iconic companies.” Eugene Ho added.

The program is open to graduating university students from all disciplines, as well as graduates with less than three years of work experience, with a strong passion for professional services in fields such as audit, accounting, tax, consulting, or technology.

Commitment to Talent Development

Deloitte is committed to shaping the future workforce by investing in young talent.

Shariq Barmaky, Country Managing Partner of Deloitte in Singapore, emphasized this commitment: “Investing in talent development not only strengthens our capabilities, it also helps ensure the long-term vibrancy of the professional services sector. Through Amplify, we want to continue collaborating with tertiary institutions and the broader public sector towards helping young talent secure meaningful and purposeful employment.”

Amplify is part of Deloitte’s broader initiative to impact 5 million lives through education, skills development, and workforce opportunities.
