Job Description for Associate Manager, Settlements (Natural Gas)
The Associate Manager, Settlements role focuses on reconciling and processing third-party gas-related invoices, including pipelines, bilateral financial & physical transactions, and utilities, to ensure timely payments. Key responsibilities include:
- Reconciliation of financial and physical gas invoices, pipelines, storage, and utility transactions against the energy trading risk management (ETRM) system
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies with counterparties
- Performing monthly pipeline volume actualization and storage inventory reconciliation
- Accurately capturing contract details, fees, rates, and payment schedules in the ETRM system
- Preparing gas settlements reports and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Providing sales support and customer service related to billing and collections
