As the tide turns, global capability centers (GCCs) are expected to play a significant role. These centers, often established by multinational companies, contribute to the uptick in hiring.
Their focus on software and technological roles aligns with the industry’s needs.
As of FY24, India’s tech market size stood at $254 billion, with a 3.8% year-on-year growth and 5.6 million tech workforce, said the report, which is based on a survey that analysed primary data from 15,000 job roles across GCCs, IT services and non-tech sectors.
This was complemented by market research spanning 10 critical sectors, including banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), auto and IT products.
