Global consulting and audit firm KPMG has announced the launch of Advisory Salesforce Apprentice Program (ASAP).
The program is aimed at developing exceptional talent from diverse backgrounds, providing access to meaningful client opportunities, and creating an innovative environment in which everyone can grow.
Advisory Salesforce Apprentice Program focuses on recruiting a diverse workforce from non-traditional backgrounds interested in changing their focus and starting a career path in the Salesforce ecosystem.
The training program will help candidates develop Salesforce technical knowledge as well as the skills needed to be successful in consulting.
Program candidates are hired as KPMG employees, complete a rigorous training curriculum, earn Salesforce certifications, and then are assigned to work on KPMG Salesforce projects for KPMG clients.
The company said in a press release, “Barriers to entry are high for technology consulting, especially for candidates without a college degree or technology experience. This program brings additional diverse talent to KPMG aligned with our values. It’s doing the right thing for our workforce and bringing the best resources to our clients.”
“KPMG is launching the first phase of the program this week in Orlando and is expanding our efforts later this year. As organizations continue to evolve their digital transformation journeys, KPMG has built strong alliance relationships with many of the world’s leading technology companies to support the transformation of the way business is done.” It said.
The company further said, “Together KPMG provides broad-ranging product offerings and increased capabilities, and our alliance with Salesforce provides innovative, scalable services and solutions built on the latest technology platform.”
“The company’s alignment with Salesforce to provide purpose-driven transformation is supported by KPMG’s Accelerate 2025 efforts in creating a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are foundational to KPMG’s Purpose, Values, and Strategy.” It added.
KPMG launched the first phase of the program on May 19, 2022 in Orlando and is expanding its efforts later this year.
