State Bank of India (SBI) is on a hiring spree and invites applications for the position of 1673 Probationary Officers (POs) across the country.
Eligibility
Prospective candidates, who aspire to join State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer, can apply after carefully reading the advertisement regarding eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of application fee, issuance of call letters, process & pattern of examinations/ interview, etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

Eligible candidates are required to register online for the recruitment process which will be held in three Phases viz. (i) Phase-I; (ii) Phase-II; and (iii) Phase-III. Candidates who are shortlisted after Phase-I will have to appear for Phase II. Candidates who are shortlisted after the Phase II will be subsequently called for Phase III. The tentative schedule of events is as follows:
Online applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (POs) in the State Bank of India. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree Graduates (Indian Citizens only) can apply online for SBI Bank 1000+ Probationary Officer Vacancies 2022-23.
Last Date to Apply
The SBI PO 2022 Online registration and recruitment process has begun on 22nd September and the last date to apply is 12th October 2022.
Emoluments
Presently, the starting basic pay is 41,960/- (with 4 advance increments) on the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.
How to Apply
Candidates can apply online only from 22.09.2022 to 12.10.2022. No other mode of application will be accepted. Pre-requisites for Applying Online: Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will be essentially required for receiving any communication/ call letters/ advice from the bank by email/ SMS.
Candidates will be required to register themselves online through State Bank of India ‘Career’ website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers.
After registration candidates are required to pay the requisite application fee through online mode by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking.
