TCS Freshers Hiring 2024, Registration Ends on April 10

The IT major, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring Engineering Freshers from the 2024 batch via TCS NQT.

TCS NQT follows an Integrated Test Pattern for Prime, Digital, and Ninja fresher hiring at TCS. The candidates need to appear for a single test and based on the test performance, they will qualify for Prime, Digital, or Ninja interviews.

TCS NQT is exclusively open for the graduating batch of 2024 with the following academic degrees: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Master of Technology (M.Tech.) / Master of Engineering (M.E.) / Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) / Master of Science (M.Sc. / M.S.) in any specialization offered by AICTE / UGC recognized universities/colleges.

Application Process

Step 1. Logon to the TCS NextStep Portal here  Opens in a new tab

Step 2. Register and Apply for the Drive

  • Scenario A. If you are a registered user under TCS NextStep Portal, ‘IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT / DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply For Drive’
  • Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details. Submit your application form and click on ‘Apply For Drive’

Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test centre & then click on Apply.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check “Track Your Application“. The status should reflect as “Applied for Drive”.

  1. REGISTRATION END DATE: Wednesday, April 10th 2024
  2. TEST DATE: Friday, April 26th 2024 Onwards

Recently, TCS Chief Executive Officer, K Krithivasan said in a Nasscom session, “In fact, we have no plans to reduce our hiring and will continue to hire the same way as we have been doing.”

“Probably we will have to change the hiring phase, but no cutting down on our hiring plans, for sure”, he added.

The CEO further said, “We are not for work from home, because we believe that working from the office is the right way of working.”

“Almost 100 percent of our customers are keen to get their workforce back to the office and almost every one of them believes that the right thing to do is work from the office,” the CEO added.
