TCS added 625 employees in Q4 FY25, reversing a decline of 5,370 in the previous quarter. As of March 31, 2025, TCS total employee count stood at 607,979, up from 601,546 at the end of FY24. The company achieved a net addition of 6,433 employees over the fiscal year.
TCS onboarded 42,000 freshers in FY25, aligning with its planned recruitment targets. The company plans to hire a similar or slightly higher number of freshers in FY26, indicating continued investment in entry-level talent.
Employees completed 56 million learning hours, acquiring 5.2 million competencies during FY25, reflecting TCS’s commitment to upskilling its workforce.
