HR Conclave -01 Hosted by SightsIn Plus and AEG Concludes Successfully


SightsIn Plus and Asian Education Group have organized HR Conclave-01 on 2nd February at Asian Business School, Noida. We are pleased to share some excerpts of HR event.

In an inaugural keynotes address, “Future of Job Opportunities, Dr. Shalini Lal, Founder- Infinity OD, enlightened us with her deep knowledge and experience. She said “many activities that workers carry out today have the potential to be automated. At the same time, job-matching sites such as LinkedIn and Monster are changing and expanding the way individuals look for work and companies identify and recruit talent”.

In next the keynotes address, “HR as Business Partner, Poonam Sharma Director- HR, Heidelberg Cement, shared her insights and said, “HR business partners work closely with an organisation’s senior managers, in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aims of the organisation. Often they work within individual business units rather than with the group HR function”

The core discussion revolved around the roles of “Technology to transform Talent Acquisition, Develop HR Processes, Operations, and Talent Development”. Panelist also shared “The labor market has shifted. What used to be characterized by stable, permanent employment and few employers per individual is now a tumultuous string of contracted, temporary jobs. Gigs, or “jobs of short or uncertain duration” are the new norm, and on-demand and freelance work are the name of the gig game”.
