Building on the success of ISAI Cap Venture I, Capgemini and ISAI have announced the launch of ISAI Cap Venture II, a renewed €80 million investment fund dedicated to supporting promising B2B startups and scale-ups globally.
The new fund blends ISAI’s deep venture capital expertise with Capgemini Ventures’ capability to drive business synergies across its global ecosystem.
Since its inception in 2019, ISAI Cap Venture I has invested in 15 diverse companies, including Alation (data governance), Zelros (insurance distribution transformation), and Copado (Salesforce DevOps).
These startups have not only aligned with Capgemini’s strategic priorities but have also enabled the group to co-create offers by industry, build stronger partner relationships, and foster client innovation across digital and tech transformations.
Driving Future Technologies and Innovation
The fund has also made forward-looking investments in next-generation technologies that are shaping the business landscape.
Notable examples include Liquid AI, known for its efficient Liquid Neural Networks (LNNs), and Pasqal, a pioneer in quantum computing.
These investments underscore Capgemini’s commitment to nurturing cutting-edge innovations that are impactful, sustainable, and scalable.
ISAI Cap Venture II will continue this trajectory by taking minority stakes (€1-5 million) in Series A to growth-stage startups that are mature enough to engage in joint commercial strategies with Capgemini.
The focus remains on international startups, primarily from Europe and the U.S., in collaboration with top-tier VCs.
A Proven Corporate-VC Model for Growth
The success of ISAI Cap Venture I has validated the power of a collaborative corporate-VC model. By balancing startup agility with the scale and access of a global enterprise like Capgemini, the fund has created a mutually beneficial ecosystem.
“Our first fund demonstrated that startups can benefit from a corporate partner while maintaining the flexibility they need to grow,” said Jean-David Chamboredon, CEO of ISAI.
“Our unique model with ISAI has established Capgemini Ventures as a trusted player in the VC ecosystem,” added Lucia Sinapi-Thomas, Executive Director, Capgemini Ventures.
With over €240 million raised across corporate-backed funds, ISAI continues to be a leading player in the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) space—connecting startups with major industrial partners and driving digital transformation at scale.
