Cognizant, an American multinational technology company that provides business consulting, information technology, and outsourcing services invites applications for freshers & experienced people hiring in India.
The company had announced to onboard approximately 30,000 new graduates in 2021 and make 45,000 offers to new graduates in India for 2022.
Cognizant had also announced to hire about one lakh lateral employees in this fiscal year. The hiring plans come in the backdrop of an improved business environment.
Currently, the US-based IT company has a total headcount of over 3,00,000 and the majority of its employees are working in India.

Recently, Cognizant has completed its acquisition of Devbridge, a privately-held software consultancy and product development company headquartered in Chicago.
Devbridge’s cross-functional team of software product engineering professionals uses collaborative techniques and proprietary tools to deliver product design and development, service design, software engineering maturity, data strategy, and legacy modernization for their clients in financial services, healthcare, hospitality, logistics, and manufacturing.
The acquisition expands Cognizant’s software product engineering capabilities and global delivery footprint by adding more than 600 engineers, designers and product managers in Lithuania, Poland, United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
