Foxconn to Set Up Manufacturing Plant In Telangana providing 1 Lakh Jobs
Foxconn Chairman Young Liu has recently been on a visit to India. He had a warm meeting with Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and updated him on the good progress in the country.

Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn), the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, Foxconn has announced its plans to set up a manufacturing plant In Telangana. This will create 1 Lakh Local Jobs.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said, “Foxconn’s unit will help to generate large-scale employment for the youth and will help attract more such industries to the state.”

“Foxconn’s huge investment and the opportunity to create more than one lakh jobs like never before in Telangana is commendable. Steps will be taken to ensure that one lakh jobs are available for the local youth as much as possible”, he added.

The company and the Government of Telangana have signed an agreement at the Pragati Bhavan. Additionally, as per the claims this will generate employment for more than one lakh people over a period of 10 years.

The company shared the information on its LinkedIn page, “Chairman Young Liu at the grand inauguration of #TWorks, the largest prototyping centre in India.”

“We are highly impressed by the “Telengana Speed” and its determination to develop high tech. #Foxconn will donate 1 industrial grade SMT line to support T-WORKS”, the company added.
